Grand Abode Design began with a simple admiration for the houses that make you slow down as you pass: the ones with handsome doors, well proportioned windows and gardens that look as if they have always been there. We wondered why that feeling should be kept for mansions.
So we set out to bring the same thoughtfulness to every home we work on. Sometimes that means restoring the original character of a period house. Sometimes it means giving a newer home the warmth and detail it has been missing. Always it means listening closely and building carefully.
